I have performed the structural analysis (classical analysis and finite element analysis) for various types of aircraft structure and systems: fuselage structure, cockpit doors, baggage doors, flight control systems, flight control surfaces, system support structure, baggage floor, cockpit floor, etc. My experience is with static strength analysis as well as fatigue and damage tolerance. I have experience supervising various types of structural testing such as bird strike and static strength testing. I have also written various reports such as structural test plans, test results reports, and analysis reports.

I was a teaching assistant for Statics, Solid Mechanics, Dynamics, and Design of Mechanical Components.

I worked on a lug analysis tool, wrote and modified VBA code to find buckling loads of composite shear panels comparing the results with analytical solutions, performed finite element analysis using a variety of software on components from control systems and the landing gear, and attended a variety of structural certification tests.

I designed vibration test fixtures for the qualification testing of components from the Environmental Control Systems, Bleed Air Systems, and Water Systems of the Citation Longitude. By the end of the summer I designed and modeled seven fixtures using CATIA v6 which will be used for the testing of 9 components. Additionally, I routed 35 of my drawings to be released using ENOVIA v6.

I performed undergraduate research with the Systems Realization Laboratory as a part of the Honors Engineering Research Experience (HERE) program. I worked with my mentor, Maryam Sabeghi, to research the exploration of the solution space of complex engineering systems, finding robust solutions within the feasible design space; using tube and shell heat exchangers as an example.
