Built relations and local business understanding to drive improved business.• Designed and implemented credit and sales procedure for key accounts including pricing structure, acquisition fee and participation to provide uniform approvals to dealer groups – increased business by 200% in 4 months and procedures were adopted across all of Canada.• Final underwriting authority for branch operations with lending authority to $100,000cdn. Manged branch operations via applications, book to look, exceptions, first payment defaults, participation paid and fees earned higher than company standards.Vice President – Regional Operations Manager (Credit/Sales), Minneapolis, Minnesota (1998-2001)Led regional operations for territory including Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and Michigan. Managed 45 team members throughout set up and opening of 9 new branches. Identified, recruited and trained 20 Area General Managers from within and outside organization. Credit Authority to $75,000.• Chief underwriter for territory. Trained and developed team members to adhere to company policy and procedures in regards to lending criteria and field underwriting. Drove loan volume growth increasing producing dealers to an average of 40 per dealer and 250 contracts per month. Average loan sized was $20,000. 5MM in net volume per branch in major markets.• Launched consultative selling method after winning over reluctant-to-change sales team and greatly improved sales calls to increase contract volume per dealer from 1.2 to 2.8 in 1 year.• Overhauled territory-overlap issues and restructured team assignments to reduce mileage from $9000 to $4500 per month.
