As AVP Indirect Lending, I developed the indirect lending program for Keesler Federal Credit Union from inception. • Designed and implemented credit and sales procedure for key accounts including pricing structure, acquisition fee and participation to provide uniform approvals to dealer groups – increased business by 200% in 4 months.
• Final underwriting authority for branch operations with lending authority to $100,000cdn. Manged branch operations via applications, book to look, exceptions, first payment defaults, participation paid and fees earned.
• Chief underwriter for territory. Trained and developed team members to adhere to company policy and procedures in regards to lending criteria and field underwriting. Drove loan volume growth increasing producing.
• Launched consultative selling method after winning over reluctant-to-change sales team and greatly improved sales calls to increase contract volume per dealer from 1.2 to 2.8 in 1 year.
• Overhauled territory-overlap issues and restructured team assignments to reduce mileage from $9000 to $4500 per month. Segmented dealers into regions and type to improve efficiency
