Brands include company flagship Steinlager brand and Mac's, and agency brands such as Stella Artois, Becks and Guinness. Lion Nathan are the New Zealand beer industry market leader, driven through superior brand strategies, On and Off-Premise performance and successful new product innovation.

Donaghys are focussed on supply of a range of leading marine, aquaculture, agricultural and horticultural products to New Zealand and international rural and aquaculture industries.

AgResearch, a New Zealand Government Crown Research Institute, is the largest supplier of research to the New Zealand agriculture sector. The commercial arm’s responsibility was to transfer the technology outputs of AgResearch to industry in New Zealand and overseas. During my tenure we focussed on adding value to the sheep meat industry though the introduction of new genetics (such as the Texel breed) with supporting branding and marketing strategies for the resulting lean, highly muscled lamb products. In addition we deployed similar genetic programmes combined with the introduction of supply chain quality practices (in conjunction with the NZ Game Industry Board) to support the introduction of the Cervena brand for NZ farmed venison.
