Whilst working at Education First, my usual summer teaching position I have worked at numerous sites on behalf of the company in London and Oxford temporarily over the summer months. My job role involved working with large groups of mixed nationality young children and teenagers from countries in Mainland Europe and Asia. The job consisted of five days a week in-class teaching using EF's materials as well as some of my own resources and one weekend day based outside of the site leading an excursion to either London sightseeing, Cambridge, Bristol or other areas of interest. I also took part in various out of class activities getting to build more rapport with my students during their activity nights such as movie night, pizza night, disco events and traditional games events. I also regularly reported to and helped out the academic manager on site who observed my teaching on various occasions during my short stint at summer school. I have also won several awards during my time working with EF such as teacher of the month and teacher of the week in recognition of my hard work on site. Because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic all classes were cancelled in Summer 2020 so was unable to fulfil a contract this year.

During my time working with G4S I won regular praise from management for my work and willingness to change roles where needed as well as being selected from a large group of staff to take part in a small team covering data entry for the London Olympics 2012 candidate files, which resulted in regular overtime until late in the evening for a short period of time.
