I currently hold a part-time English teaching position at the College of Languages in Lodz, Poland. Within a collaborative teaching environment, I contribute to the preparation of large student groups (ages 9-20) for their FCE, CAE, and CPE Cambridge exams. My focus is on developing their spoken and listening fluency. Additionally, I provide constructive feedback on reading and writing assignments, both completed in class and for homework. During the summer months (July-August), I currently work as a Summer English Teacher at Select English in Cambridge, UK. My temporary contract concludes successfully each year at the end of the summer intake. In this role, I:Delivering engaging English language instruction to diverse groups of multinational students from European and Asian countries.Developing and planning a variety of curricula, including courses designed to meet the standards of regular British Council inspections.Facilitating collaborative learning experiences by leading group projects and preparing students for bi-weekly drama presentations culminating in a talent show.Contributing to a dynamic extracurricular program, taking the lead or providing support for various activities on and off campus.

I previously worked online teaching English to various bluechip and individual clients from the UK and Poland using various platforms. I worked with individual students or large groups using existing and created materials to help them prepare for upcoming examinations, presentations and meetings with other non-natives around Europe. I also prepared regular assessment tests and progress reports for all of my students.

Whilst working at Education First, my usual summer teaching position I have worked at numerous sites on behalf of the company in London and Oxford temporarily over the summer months. My job role involved working with large groups of mixed nationality young children and teenagers from countries in Mainland Europe and Asia. The job consisted of five days a week in-class teaching using EF's materials as well as some of my own resources and one weekend day based outside of the site leading an excursion to either London sightseeing, Cambridge, Bristol or other areas of interest. I also took part in various out of class activities getting to build more rapport with my students during their activity nights such as movie night, pizza night, disco events and traditional games events. I also regularly reported to and helped out the academic manager on site who observed my teaching on various occasions during my short stint at summer school. I have also won several awards during my time working with EF such as teacher of the month and teacher of the week in recognition of my hard work on site. Because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic all classes were cancelled in Summer 2020 so was unable to fulfil a contract this year.

My first position as an English teacher outside was based at a small private school based in Lukow, Poland. The job involved teaching English to small groups of various ages between 7 - 20 years and developing students understanding of the English language through reading, writing, listening and speaking materials supplied by the school and also some of my own material. During my time at the school I also took part in regular team events outside of class such as the school Christmas and Easter parties helping to promote the school in the local community. I also worked with several teenagers and young adult students preparing them for their FCE/CAE/CPE examinations and Business English use for their current employment. As Lukow is a small town, I had a desire to move to somewhere bigger to progress in my career and decided to leave the school after one year giving plenty of notice to the employer.

I previously worked for the UK's biggest bluechip security company G4S Secure Solutions at their Stockton office. My job role initially involved working as part of a small recruitment team delivering competency based interviews to clients interested in vacancies as well as setting up interview dates, advertising through the Job Centre both on the mainland UK and NI job systems. I was also involved in general administrative duties as well as screening candidates for positions by checking their work history through email and telephone conversation and also worked as part of the disclosures team at the company using data entry and accuracy to ensure all disclosures were completed on a daily basis. During my time working with G4S I won regular praise from management for my work and willingness to change roles where needed as well as being selected from a large group of staff to take part in a small team covering data entry for the London Olympics 2012 candidate files, which resulted in regular overtime until late in the evening for a short period of time.

During my Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training I worked voluntarily in the Art department of Northfield School gathering experience as a teacher and teaching assistant at the school towards my qualification. I worked alongside the head of the department and regularly taught unaided to classes of 25/26 teenage students as well as accompanying the staff on school photography trips to local museums and parks with students gathering evidence towards their art qualification. This role ended in June 2015 at which point I had gathered enough evidence towards my qualification and completed my Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

My first full time permanent role involved working for the now insolvent Garlands Call Centres LTD. The job role involved working in customer service based roles for several bluechip clients such as Vodafone, Orange and Talktalk during my time working at both their offices based in Middlesbrough and then later in Hartlepool. During my time in the role, I worked flexible shifts, usually until late at night during the week and occasionally weekend days and also won various awards for my customer service skills scoring highly during recorded monitoring of my calls with customers. As I moved towards the last remaining months of my time working at Garlands I was also seconded to the role of Evening team leader, monitoring calls and keeping database records as well as controlling a small team of staff until the end of the working day. The company went into administration in May 2010 forcing me to look for other employment at the time.
