About Mark Hampton

While I am now retired, my interest in the environmental/conservation arenas has not disappeared. I am open to opportunities in the environmental/conservation service areas for me to work part-time or volunteer on environmental projects. I want to be involved in projects that protects the environment or investigates environmental issues. What can I bring to the table: I have excellent skills to successfully develop, organize, implement and manage projects because of my 24-year experience as an environmental consultant, and 13-years as a Sales Professional that required accountability to meet deadlines and financial responsibility. I routinely initiated calls to prospects, made presentations, and developed many proposals. I enjoyed pursuing and winning projects as this energizes me. My environmental background, project management insights, communication and selling skills will allow me to operate in complex environments that include communicating with multiple internal senior management, client management/staff, government agencies and the public. How I have gained these skills is through my extensive career that has provided me with a much-diversified experience with roles involving sales and sales management for an environmental laboratory, performing and managing environmental investigation/remediation projects, and data analysis of contaminated sites. These roles include management of sales and technical staff, management of environmental technical and operations, regulatory compliance, cost, schedule, and financial analysis, and resource and subcontract management. I have gained excellent skill levels such that the project budgets and their technical complexity required that I develop good business strategies; direct, motivate, engage in public speaking, and monitor project performance for multiple phases of work, often performed simultaneously.Specialties: Extensive environmental project management experience. Preparation of bids/proposals to win work. Business-to-business sales/marketing.

Listed skills include Environmental Consulting, Remediation, Environmental Awareness, Environmental Impact Assessment, and 5 others.
