Continued to Manage the Global Claims team handling large and complex claims insured under policies underwritten and issued by the AIG Global Energy underwriting team world wide.

This role was developed as a senior Technical Resource for the company for Property and Energy claims. This was an expanded and focused extension of my existing role as SVP for international Property and worldwide Energy losses. In this role I engaged in some of the following areas:-Increased focus on management of complex losses and major litigation (>$25.0 million) worldwide;-Mentoring and development of global staff to take on major loss roles;-Act as technical resource for the newly formed AIG Major Loss Center of Excellence;-Work with professional training department to produce coordinated and progressive training courses on both general and specialized claims needs. This was part of the foundation of the AIG University training platform;-Working with outside vendors and agencies to identify and develop training opportunities for staff adjusters;-Manage a team of Property reinspection specialists, measuring accuracy and quality of work product from AIG in-house and outside independent adjusters;-Work with the AIG Vendor Management team to develop and implement quality measurement and feedback tools and institute a culture of continuous improvement in the services provided to and utilized by AIG;-Worked with outside consultants and internal resources to design and implement a standardized operating response protocol for restoration and remediation vendors and incorporated it into a standard form contract implementing a standardized AIG rate sheet with major vendors.

Senior product line claims manager for worldwide property insurance outside the US and Canada ands enior claims manager for Energy line property claims worldwide including US and Canada. Experience includes claims management and adjustment of complex losses in the Petroleum, Chemical, Semiconductor and Utility industries, including both operational risks and Construction projects. Handling of losses in excess of US$ 1 billion in value as well as management of complex litigation of both coverage issues and recovery from responsible parties.
