My Region encompassed fourteen prisons from San Quentin to Pelican Bay State Prison and was responsible for major and minor construction- including new building construction, building remodel/use changes and utility upgrades and repair.

My Section developed and managed large energy efficiency projects at CDCR facilities and also managed contracts and installation for solar PV installations. We also tracked and managed utility usage statewide, water and waste water usage and reduction efforts as well as assisting with waste management reduction efforts. My Section also had another Unit that managed the voice and data infrastructure statewide at all CDCR facilities.
