I am a passionate and dedicated mental health nurse who has always focused on jobs that maintain a direct clinical contact with patients as this is what I enjoy the most. I currently work as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in Milton Keynes and as a Healthy Minds Practitioner in a GP surgery in Wellingborough. I have previously worked as a Disability Assessor for Capita, as a Senior Staff Nurse for St Andrew's Hospital in the treatment of brain injury and for Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust for eighteen years in both inpatient and community settings. During this time I have qualified as a mentor for student nurses and also as a clinical supervisor. I have also achieved a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which will continue to add skills that I can use in a clinical setting.
