After working on the installation and commissioning of equipment in Korea on the platform build, currently working on the hook up. This covers both Production elements and the full drilling package.Working closely with the platform operator and the multiple third party companies covering the whole range of disciplines.Carrying out mechanical isolating authority and Area tech duties, working closely with the work permit issuing and authorisation process.The current work scope is the day to day maintenance of 2 full drilling packages covering all the primary and associated equipment. With the repair, fault diagnosis and operation of multiple complex hydraulic systems both within the ring line and stand alone. The equipment varies from cranes both conventional and gantry types, winches hydraulic and pneumatic, Subsea hydraulic control systems and the BOP. We operate mainly digital documentation and drawings which are used daily for both routine maintenance and also for fault diagnoses and complex hydraulic drawings both modern international standard and more "old school" onesThe main equipment package runs off a 207b ring line providing pressure and flow to operate a 6-7th generation drilling package, this has full software control to all equipment and incorporates local and remote location drilling options. I am closely involved with the planning and implementing of the daily maintenance routine required to keep all the equipment in service and also carry out all the paperwork both physical and digital to provide a full and complete audit trail for work carried out.
