We make the Bumpbox, currently installed on trains run by Virgin and East Midland Trains.It detects where rails are becoming defective thus damaging wheel-sets, and affecting ride quality.This allows Network Rail to target their maintenance to developing trouble spots, and gives the Train Operating Company precise objective evidence of the time and place of the stress to their train.One TOC client is using our hardware/software combination to determine late minutes and where they are caused by infrastructure/rail and not the TOC's responsibility.
