I’m a professional executive with an excellent reputation for leading large, complex organizations, driving cultural change, increasing operational readiness, and optimizing resources. I’m a skillful motivator and leader with an assertive, hardworking, and resourceful approach to solving complex challenges. I have a demonstrated history of helping people and organizations achieve their personal and business goals with more than 30 years of progressive experience working in the government, military, and defense industries. I retired from the U.S. Army in 2021 as a Colonel and commanded at the company, battalion, and brigade levels as a logistician. My span of control covered greater than 2,500 personnel and a geographical area covering several countries in Asia. My experience as a leader and follower enabled me to bridge the gaps between geographically dispersed units and different cultural norms among organizations and leaders. As the Chief of Staff for the Ohio National Guard, I provided the guidance, direction, and coordination for the mobilization of thousands of personnel to support Ohio’s Food Banks, hospitals, correctional facilities, and community centers as non-profit organizations and service providers were consumed by the Coronavirus pandemic. I facilitated workforce engagement with more than 1,400 personnel teleworking and ensured our $300M budget achieved tactical and operational goals in support of the agency’s strategic plan. As a portrait photographer, I’m thankful to volunteer for Portraits for Patriots, which is a non-profit organization offering professional headshots for our transitioning military personnel, spouses, and Gold Star families. My passion for service to the Nation and taking photographs began at an early age. I’m excited about assisting and mentoring others to achieve their goals. This is just one small way I can give back.
