Regional Service Manager
Direct and coordinate both technical and administrative activities related to the on-site service and repair of assigned TEL equipment at customer locations. Directly manage Field Service Supervisors, and Field Service Engineers to ensure adequate customer support and appropriate and up-to-date records are maintained for each system/tool. Interact regularly with customers and engineers to resolve outstanding issues or concerns. Duties include occasional technical assistance, managerial responsibilities, status reporting, customer interaction, parts tracking, monitoring escalations, service contract sales and management and installation support. Perform managerial activities including: semi-annual performance evaluations and goal setting; job counseling/coaching; scheduling work assignments and coverage for absences; ensuring appropriate training for field engineers and supervisors; and, recommending merit increases, progressions, and other pay issues. Review, approve and follow up on status reports, expense reports, vacation requests and General Information Requests from the factory. Create Personnel Requisition forms. Manage multi-million dollar budget and maintain budgetary targets as explained by Director of Service. Disseminate company information regarding equipment, policies, engineering change notices, new technologies, etc. Responsible for multiple customer sites in the southwest region; . Responsible for upkeep, maintenance, and security of company property - including that assigned to subordinates - such as cars, tools, computers, credit cards, etc. Must maintain professional demeanor in dealing with customers and subordinates. Must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both TEA and customers to obtain and retain credentials to be on customers' site(s). Technical aspects of this position necessitate a mechanical aptitude.
Field Service Supervisor
Responsible for maintaining both sites and closing all site issues. Responsible for all site ECC issues. Act as interface with TEA, TKL and Customer. Maintain scheduling for shift coverage and training for both sites. Responsible for proper escalation paths at both sites. Chair for any emergency escalation meetings. Handle all HR related tasks for site (hiring, reviews, time sheets etc.). Monitor installation during ramp for stability. Ensure FSE's are fulfilling scope of work OJT requirements. Responsible for setting site priorities. Responsible for accounts receivable (Billing matrix, parts, etc). Assist with trouble shooting when necessary.
Technical Training Specialist
Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans and designs curriculum from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Works with management team to ensure that course material reflects current product features and meets training needs of technical staff. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures, laboratory sessions, and or field based training. May also develop training materials for computer-based applications, web-based applications, or other independent/long distance techniques. Follows up to determine applicability of course material.
