Design Manager for the Bald Hill Lithium Project. Duties included:Preparation of deliverables list, design schedule and design management plan to properly reflect contract and project requirements.Management of Engineering Leads and Designers to prepare all Engineering deliverables required of the project. This included providing final technical approval for all engineering and drafting deliverables. I also acted as checker for most mechanical design calculations.Client liaison, progress reporting and management of major client / design interfaces such as model and design reviews, HAZOP etc.Maintenance and management of engineering registers including deliverables register, battery limits register, TQ register, design issues register and engineering and design NCRs, and final closeout of the design phase of the project in accordance with Primero quality procedures.

 Project Manager for three sub contracts (circa $30M total). All delivered on time/budget with 0 LTIs. Balanced machines and materials handling subject matter expert. Project / site management for DHHI supplied equipment including 2 off 14,000tph stacker, 1 off 16,000tph reclaimer and a prototype car dumper cell arrangement (12,00tph). Interface management between Samsung Rail and Port Infrastructure construction teams. Facilitating approvals from Government departments and other 3rd parties.

Site based management of a construction contractor (approx. 50 personnel) to install and commission a 9,500 tph iron ore stacker on a brownfields RTIO site.

My area of responsibility concerned all processing and materials handling equipment at the port end of the Roy Hill Project rail development.Primarily the role involved acting on behalf of the Superintendent for the main EPC contract in a commercial capacity, however there was also a very strong technical focus to ensure that the contractor met technical, scope and quality requirements for their works. Given the relative inexperience of the EPC contractor in Australia, there was a heavy emphasis on building trust and mentoring the EPC project delivery team, such that they understood their scope and obligations and would in turn be able to put in place appropriate resources to successfully deliver the project.

Interface management and closeout of various supply, design and construction contracts required to complete development of the Sino Iron Project port facilities, on behalf of the Cape Preston Port Company (a subsiduary of Citic Group).

Owners representative supervising EPC contractor for a 24mtpa product dewatering and filter plant, product stockyard, port and export facility.
