About Mark Heenan

A dedicated, innovative, and entrepreneurial executive with advanced experience in all facets of the construction industry. Through loyalty, stewardship, and innovation, I've proven an expert in efficiency and natural leader at many levels; building strong relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and team members. My entrepreneurial career began repairing driveways in his neighborhood at a young age. At the age of 16, he began working as a seasonal laborer on institutional scale construction projects. During high school and college breaks, I continued to work as a laborer and office intern in the construction industry. After college, I held a few positions as a project manager, estimator, and claims analyst expanding my knowledge of the construction industry. In 2010, I founded two development and general contracting firms, which grew to enjoy over forty full time employees and exceed $60 million in annual revenue through organic growth as well as acquisitions and corporate restructuring. My companies' project experience includes public and private projects ranging from $200,000 to over $50 million.

In 2012, the Company acquired Hessert Construction New Jersey, LLC and assumed management of all construction operations of Hessert Corp, a general contractor in the institutional and public sectors. I divested of the H2 Holdings and certain Hessert Companies in late 2015, having brought annual revenues from under $10M/yr in 2010 to over $50M/yr in 2015.My extensive experience in business start-up, policy formation, mergers and acquisitions, and process refinement, while retaining primary responsibility for the quality services delivered, have proven to inspire trust and confidence of not only Owners and investors, but of employees and subcontractors as well.The company still exists, but has been relatively "dormant" with the exception of a few projects since 2016.
