About Mark Heiner

I am a propulsion engineer with hands on experience with solid, liquid, and hybrid rocket systems and with leading development of these systems. I have experience with solid rocket propellant development, grain and motor design, testing, and evaluation. I also have experience with hybrid rocket development and testing, and various aspects of liquid propulsion including regenerative cooling and pressure feed systems. My thesis research in support of my Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering included thermal ignition of high test peroxide in a hybrid rocket motor and applications of this to a thrust augmented nozzle.
