I am an Assistant Project Manager at Power Design Inc. with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Columbia University. I was approached by the executive team to develop an in-house prefabrication solution. This process started from the ground up from building a custom engineering solution to planning manufacturing processes. Prefabrication "prefab" is viewed as the future of construction. It moves as much work as possible to a controlled manufacturing environment resulting in more accurate construction on tighter timelines.As a Mechanical Engineer at Columbia, I led as President the university's Formula SAE team during a time of restructuring. Formula SAE is an international design competition connecting the automotive community. Teams design, manufacturer, and test a new racecar every year. This provides an introduction for many students to automotive engineering as well as hands on design. My goal was to lay a foundation and ensure the team continues to find success and growth after my time. I oversaw the team's initiative to build an electric vehicle in additional to an internal combustion vehicle.While studying, I worked as a teaching assistant for a fundamental class, The Art of Engineering. I introduced a range of concepts throughout the semester including programing, 3D modeling, and product design.
