Established in 1998, Montara Post provides creative editorial services for broadcast, corporate, commercial, and documentary clients. I’ve edited and collaborated on a wide range of projects at Montara Post including: feature length documentaries, commercials, social media videos, educational videos, training series, music videos, medical videos, on-location events around the world, and broadcast specials, to name a few. The work has been for clients like; MIT, MilliporeSigma, Harvard University, The History Channel, NFPA, Suffolk University, Dunkin’ Brands, The Learning Channel, Hasbro, IBM, Viewpoint Creative, Arm & Hammer, Sun Life Financial, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Nutanix, and France Telecom.

Boston Area

During my time as a freelance Avid editor I’d be a hired team-member, constantly on the run, moving from company to company and project to project. I learned a lot about working with different types of production teams, under all sorts of variable conditions. A few of my clients from this period were: WCVB/Studio 5, Reebok, EMC, Discovery Channel, DI Group, Animal Planet, Videocraft, Envision Corporation, Lotus, Titleist/FootJoy, and Welch’s.

Wave Inc. was a production company that focused on corporate communications. I was hired in the early days of Avid and non-linear video editing, and my job was to be the “Avid editor on the go”. I had a van and a portable Avid system that was designed to be easily moved and setup wherever the client needed the edit to be, be it on-location during a shoot or a corporate board room. I learned a lot during this time and enjoyed traveling around New New England editing projects “out in the field”.

Spotwise was a fantastic agency/production company that focused on broadcast promotion in the 80’s & 90's. Among their clients were ABC Sports, NBC, Universal, Disney, and similar high profile Companies. This is where I learned to edit commercials in a fast paced and extremely creative environment. I started as a full time intern, after graduating college I became a permalance assistant editor, and soon thereafter an editor.
