Mark Hicks is the Founding Director of MGH Solutions.Mark is a lawyer and nationally accredited mediator. Mark is also a certified trainer. Mark was admitted as a legal practitioner by the Supreme Court of NSW in Feb of 2001 having completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. Mark completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Western Sydney University in 2000. Mark has worked in both defendant and plaintiff law practices. Further, Mark has worked in an in-house capacity as Senior Legal Counsel and Manager of the Insurance Law Practice for a large NSW Government Agency. Most recently Mark was the National Legal Manager for a number of large and diverse insurers. Mark completed his Mediation Training and Assessment at the NSW College of Law and is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and member of the Resolution Institute.Given his diverse background Mark brings a unique perspective to dispute resolution management and can assist parties with the following:• as a mediator/facilitated negotiator• coordinator/facilitator of expert conclaves including the preparation of joint expert reports• as a consultant to review the structure, effectiveness and efficiencies of in-house legal offerings• as a consultant to review the general claims management strategies of insurance portfolios and to assist with high volume and complex claims management • as a consultant to develop and enhance the skills of your team and offer a variety of workplace training modules
