Various Assistant manager roles, including Leamington Spa, Birmingham Fort, Birmingham Bullring.As Assistant Manager, I was expected to know & implement everything that the store manager of these stores requested, plus add my own ideas & initiatives to the stores running. Part of my job was also developing members of the team, & am proud to say that i've seen many of my colleagues climb up the HMV ladder into management positions of their own.

Solihull / Telford / Birmingham Bullring

I began at HMV Solihull in January 2000, working as a stock processor, then quickly made my way onto the sales floor as an eager 17 year old. From here I became 'Supervisor' (3rd in line management) at the HMV Telford store. After a short stint in Telford (6 months), I was promoted to the Midlands flagship store, HMV Birmingham Bullring, where we were considered to be one of the best stores within the company, getting through to the finals of the prestigious 'Top Of The Shops' finals.
