This program included stores modules, fuel & water storage units, maintenance modules, flat racks and interface systems for floating bridges.RMMVA secured the Land 121 Phase 3B contract in 2013 to supply the Commonwealth of Australia with more than 2,500 logistical trucks and nearly 3,000 modules. The contract is worth more than $1.7 billion. -

Manage major programs including new vehicle structures (e.g. Commodore, Cadillac, Chevrolet) and vehicle accessory products. Responsible for performance evaluations and career management of the team, including recruiting, training and mentoring.Achievements:➢ Led cross-functional team consisting of manufacturing, procurement, quality and validation team members to deliver the 2013 Commodore body structure. Managed budget of $45M and delivered world-class body structure on time with outstanding quality (zero design issues at launch).➢ Implemented a significant mass reduction program for the 2013 Commodore, including first-time use of new technology for General Motors. Delivered weight saving of 16kg (3kg better than target).➢ Guided local stamping supplier to create joint venture with Korean company to introduce advanced steel manufacturing process (hot stamping) into Australia.➢ Managed the execution of dozens of concurrent accessory projects, generating annual revenue of $50M. ➢ Collision repair and service champion; made technical presentations to more than 2000 people at industry seminars around Australia on crash repair, body service and road rescue.➢ Managed several industry-based AutoCRC research projects with Swinburne University and University of Queensland. -

Responsible for performance evaluations and career management of the team, including recruiting, training and mentoring. Set the technical direction for all body structure development for vehicles such as Commodore, Cadillac and Chevrolet. Provide expertise to all design engineers on structural design, performance and manufacture.Achievements:➢ Led the manufacture of more than 150 complete prototype vehicle bodies ($11M budget). Created a statement of requirements, evaluated supplier bids, and managed the manufacturing process at Japanese supplier (including the overall tooling and manufacturing strategy and all engineering changes).➢ Initiated the 2013 Commodore weight-reduction program by creating the strategy and achieving global approval for technical details. Developed plans to mitigate manufacturing risks and led negotiations with senior leadership to gain approval for required funding ($20M).➢ Holden’s representative on global expert teams for several years. Expertise recognised within General Motors (e.g. author of several global best practices). -
