At NBCUniversal I was assigned various Human Resources and Labor Relations responsibilities such as advising management executives on employee relation issues, contract interpretation, employee development and discipline, and changes in department structure as well as conducted employee investigations, grievance resolution, union relations, and leading contract negotiations. I supported corporate departments, facilities, television stations on the Universal Lot and feature and television productions.Key Achievements: 1)Advised management on major department restructures with minimum issues. 2) Developed and presented management training courses such as “Managing in an Union Environment” and “How to Conduct Employee Evaluations”. 3) Investigated, advised management and resolved numerous employee relations issues. 4) Successfully negotiated various internal agreements which covered bargaining units ranging from 30 to 300 employees.

At Universal Studios Hollywood I supported the Technical Service Department, Transportation and Design and Development I partnered with management by advising on Human Resources areas such as recruitment, employee development and discipline, grievance resolutions, talent review and employee investigations and issues.Key Achievement: 1) Oversaw the management, development, and implementation of a basic electrical and HVAC test in order to improve the workforce talent base.

Logicon provides advanced technology systems and services, hardware and software, to support national security, civil and industrial needs in the following areas: command, control, communications & intelligence; weapons systems; information systems; science & technology and training & simulation.My primary responsibilities included talent acquisition, employee issues, job fairs, employee relocations, and general human resources questions for several offices located around the continental United States.

Orbit Communications Company was start-up Pay TV network which was the first fully digital, multi-channel, multi-lingual, pay television service and network that broadcasted to the Middle East and North Africa. I was primarily responsible for the development and implementation of management training, oversee the implementation of the development of Human Resources systems, partner with management on employee development and disciplinary issues and policy and procedure development.Key Achievements: 1) As this was a start-up company, I developed various Human Resources policies and procedures such as evacuation plan, employee evaluation procedure, and an annual merit increase process. 2) Developed and presented a course for managers to provide them with tools to manage their multicultural workforce. 3) Assigned by the CEO, conducted an in-depth review and investigation of the two Arabic television stations to identify any operational, communication, or talent development needs and present the CEO and Head Of Human Resources with the identified needs and recommended solutions. The CEO and Head Of Human Resources implemented some of the recommendations which resulted from my findings.

During my time at Universal Studios Hollywood Theme Park I was responsible for a progressively increasing responsibilities such as coordinating the on-barding process, worked with Recruitment and Training Departments in scheduling orientations and trainings. I also was responsible for tracking employee paperwork, work permits, and alien registration cards as well as grievance resolution, contract interpretation, and employee investigations.Key Achievements: 1) Started out as an Intern and was hired as a staff employee three months later then promoted two times within a four-year period. 2) Streamlined the Orientation and Training tracking process with a more efficient way of tracking a hire through the recruitment, orientation and training process. 3) Developed a more efficient way accurately track recruiter hiring, orientation and training completion to more effectively provide reporting status throughout the recruitment process for seasonal hiring.
