CricketACT is one of Australia's leading sporting organisations and carries the responsibility of developing Cricket throughout the State.Mark is responsible for individual skill development, organisation of squad(s) Comets and Under 19’s, coaching sessions, and the planning and implementation of all High Performance Programs. Mark undertakes important administrative functions such as visual reinforcement through video and statistical analysis, verbal & written reports that document the player’s progress plus regular feedback to players, coaches, clubs and parents.Mark’s key objective is to ensure that the CricketACT squads receive the best and most comprehensive coaching available and are given programs that will achieve individual plus short and long term team success.Responsibilities:Responsible for the training and coaching requirements of the CricketACT High Performance Academy squads including Comets and the Under 19’s programs.• Targeted Player Programs• Winter team based training programs• Pre-season Trial Matches• In season training programs• Skill analysis of individuals and squads• Implementing individual skill development strategies.• Providing individual coaching sessions.• Performance reviews of individual players at the end of each training phase for distribution amongst High Performance Coaching staff and Club Coaches.• Develop and maintain playing files and records on AMS for all targeted High Performance Academy players.• Be involved in the selection of CricketACT Performance Academy squad each season.• Coaching & Education as required, at Level 2 courses which includes the delivery of presentations on specialist skill area.• Reporting to CricketACT Board as required.• Take reasonable care for your own health and safety, and for the health and safety of others.• Co-operate with CricketACT with respect to legislative occupational health and safety requirements
