I was the executive assistant to the MD of Half Moon (Hucknall) Ltd. This role required everything from the ground up. Policies and procedures from health and safety, fire safety, staffing, training, marketing to the daily operating of the venue. Winning Nottinghamshire's “Best Bar None - Judges Choice” in 2015I was part of the opening team setting up all the procedures, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, etc. Recruiting and training was a priority, as the area is very much "set in its ways" and we wanted to bring this small mining town into a more versatile establishment. I created the drinks menu - consisting of Cocktails, Wines, Spirits, Lagers, Ciders, Real Ales.We created the aesthetics for the venue and decor. All social media and marketing was created and overseen by me. Either myself or the MD would perform audits periodically to ensure all policies were adhered too and the operations were running in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Chair of the Local Pubwatch group within the area. This involved holding meetings regarding licencing issues, complaints from the community and upholding licencing objectives among the community and other venue licensees, communing with police licencing and council licencing to better serve the area
