For the last three years I have focused on the mid-market sector in London and the South East. A few of the projects I have worked on recently include;- advising the management team of a demolitions company through a cash crisis and the ultimate sale of their business which preserved the ongoing operations of the company.- leading the review of a retail chemist chain suffering from stressed trading conditions. We successfully agreed a refinancing package with all parties including a principal supplier and the business has continued to trade with a restructured balance sheet.- negotiating the restructuring of a digital media companies debt obligations with management and the PE fund owners to provide a more stable basis for the future.- advising the lender of a major high street electronics retailer facing financial distress with respect to a proposed operational restructuring plan which would materially change the position of the company in the UK and worldwide markets.

Roles included accounts payable, credit control, author royalty accounting and supporting the senior management accountant and FD.This gave me a great basis in the fundamental roles and functions of a companies account department and early exposure to a corporate working environment.
