 Oversaw production of remanufactured Nissan rearwheel and front wheel drive transmissions. Led the implementation of TS16949 compliance for Nissan IK, JK and Ford 5R110 model transmission lines.  Responsible for leading APQP, PPAP, 8D and A3 activities for Nissan and Ford production lines. Identified and corrected the primary defect in Nissan IK Model reman units resulting in boosted first pass yield by 4 percent. Boosted Ford 5R110 first pass yield by 21 percent through detailed analysis of product defects. Trend continues upward. Standardized and automated warranty evaluation reporting procedures through the use of advanced Excel and Access software features. Led the 5R110 product PPAP process that completed two weeks ahead of schedule. Coordinated defective part corrective actions with Part Quality Engineer. As Field Quality Engineer, entered Nissan product 8D activities to the Nissan GCARS reporting system Cleared two year’s worth of dead Nissan inventory from quality hold. Supported lean manufacturing projects.
