I've been a music educator and professional musician for the past 10 years. Teaching positions have included general classroom music, elementary band/orchestra, and currently middle school orchestra. I also teach private lessons on trumpet and other brass instruments.Involvement in co-curricular musical groups is a huge part of my career. I work with my district’s brass ensemble as director, percussion ensemble at my school, and assist as needed with the other performing groups at my school. In addition to my duties at school, I also work with the Skyliners Drum and Bugle Corps from the Wilkes Barre-Scranton, PA area.I maintain an active performing schedule with brass quintets, brass ensembles, wind ensembles, and orchestras.My goals include continued educational growth for my teaching duties, and increased opportunities to teach outside musical groups (jazz, marching band, drum corps, etc.)Professional affiliations:- New York State School Music Assoc.
