Working in plant nutrition and disease management R&D over the last 30 years, I took a step back from full time employment and joined Prodata weather systems on a part-time basis in Nov ‘21. I first became familiar with Davis weather stations working with Peter Palmer from Prodata on disease model verification whilst at Headland and enjoyed the challenge of converting climatic data into a working model for Microdochium nivale prediction.With Prodata I spec, sell, troubleshoot and install Davis weather stations and sensor options. I also provide technical support. Prodata and I are also developing a specific software package using Davis weather station-derived data and converting it onto agronomic reports for Greenkeepers and groundsman.
