Mark Allan Hunter, M.D., M.B.A.OTOLARYNGOLOGY Dr. Mark Hunter began his ENT medical practice at the Boulder Medical Center in August, 2014. Born in Colorado Springs at the Air Force Academy Hospital, he grew up in Denver where he found a particular love of the mountains and Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle. He and his wife, Katherine, met while living and working in the Vail area just after college. They now have three children and when not involved in medicine, Dr. Hunter enjoys spending time with his family skiing, running, sailing, cycling, backpacking, hiking, and scuba diving.MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTYDr. Hunter received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and continued his education at the University of Denver earning a Master of Business Administration. He completed Post baccalaureate Premedical Studies at Bennington College in Vermont. Dr. Hunter earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont and then attended Albany Medical College in New York where he completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONSDr. Hunter is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Medical Societies. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), the American College of Surgeons, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
