Design, engineering and implementation of medical device products in Research and Development:• Stress analysis software (Mechanica) for various new products.• Designing and testing packaging for LigaSure products.• Work with FMEA, Design for manufacturing on LigaSure products and generator cables assemblies. • DFM and DFA on projects to reduce costs and simplify manufacturing and assembly. • Researching and developing LigaSure jaws to reduce cell damage and sticking.• Writing test protocols and executing on Instron and other test plaforms.• Experience with Ziess Coordinate Measuring Machine, setup, programming and execution.• Experience and deep knowledge with Pro/ENGINEER, Creo, Windchill, Intralink, Mechanica, Pro/Sheetmetal, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Agile, MiniTab, Mindjet, MS Office products software.
