My two month internship primarily involved event organisation and delivery. I began as a part of the Pride of England team, organising and hosting a side event at the Women’s World Cup in London. This event brought together approx. 100 former internationals ranging from those that played in 1950 to the present day. I was later in the event team for Futures Cup 2018, bringing 432 players together from all across England, Scotland and Wales for a high performance hockey tournament. My roles here were to: coordinate our university exhibition event bringing 22 universities to the tournament, producing and managing the sales of event programmes, and acting as assistant to the tournament director throughout the preparation and delivery of the tournament.

Lusaka, Zambia

I fundraised £2000 throughout my first year of university to fund my involvement with Volunteer Zambia.This culminated in six weeks spent in Lusaka teaching PE and coaching football across various impoverished areas of Lusaka, with local partner charities Sport in Action and Edusport.Our group hosted a multi-sport tournament that brought teams from across the city together. I delivered our “English PE” section and co-organised the football section of the tournament.

Part time assistant in PE department during gap year.Assisted and led lessons in: hockey, swimming, athletics, tennis and rounders.Ages taught ranged from 7 to 16.

Part time QA of several apps developed at the company, in addition to customer service.

One of three coaches at the Cwmbran centre for the 360 Degree Program.Included working as a team to plan and deliver a performance development program. We would work as a team to then identify the most talented, and progress to the next step in Hockey Wales, which for most was training with, or playing for, the National Age Group squads.Also included delivering guidance on strength and conditioning, nutrition, recovery, and pyschological coping strategies.

Assistant Coach 2013-15, for juniors' sessions.Coordinator of junior club, Lead Juniors Coach and Lead Mens' 2s, 3s and 4s Coach 2015-16.Delivered training sessions for juniors and adult teams throughout the season, managed the club's "Badgers" team. Organised junior teams for all regional tournaments, including one team going unbeaten for over a year. Managed the team of assistant coaches and volunteers.Established a roadmap of junior club development for the next 2 years, ready for the next Junior Coordinator to implement.
