About Mark Inman

I've worked in the videogames industry for over 25 years, most recently I've been assisting Sold Out with the external production on their digital portfolio, most notably titles such as KeyWe (all platforms), Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View (all platforms), Brewmaster: Beer Brewing Simulator and Core Keeper (PC). My role involves end-to-end production support covering the titles from concept approval to post release, liaising with 3rd party support services and internal teams.Previously, I worked as Head of Games Production/Publishing Producer for The Imaginarium bringing Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier to market for Xbox One, PC and PS4. Prior to that, my main role was co-owner and C.O.O. of small independent studio, Honeyslug. Within Honeyslug my duties included project management which involved project budgeting, scheduling, reporting to publisher/platform holder, organising & delivery of all platform facing assets (builds, marketing materials, QA liaison, submission materials, etc), localisation of assets, handling of regional ratings board submissions (PEGI, ESRB, CERO). I also handled Studio Management and Business Affairs for the studio (requiring handling all day-to-day business management, invoicing, company financials & tax affairs, drafting and handling contracts for projects and contracted staff). Further duties included design utilising bespoke tools, LUA scripting and XML, internal QA, video production of self published or self promotional work, community, press and consumer facing correspondence.Prior to Honeyslug I worked as an internal producer for Morpheme Game Studios/Eidos Mobile. My duties included working with internal and external development teams delivering J2ME, Flash and PC Casual games. Delivery of mobile game titles on 80 SKUs covering over 300 different handsets. Handling of Publisher and Publisher QA requirements, etc.As Producer within Nokia's Content Sourcing team, I liaised with developers to bring their titles to the Club Nokia platform as well as handling communciation and code delivery to the test team, I was also involved in establishing relationships and new business for Nokia with new developers. My early career was QA for Sony/Psygnosis (and subsequently Electronic Arts) initially solely performing QA tasks, that expanded into leading teams testing for PC, PS1, PS2, Saturn, Xbox & GBA.Outside of my work, I'm a BAFTA member and have been part of the judging panel on one of the categories in 2019 and I do period work with Next Gen Skills Academy on their Prince's Trust courses.
