Accountable as the sole project engineer responsible for providing both technical and project management support for seven projects (Lator Ph V, Wapiti Ph VI/VII/VIII, Wapiti Tidewater Facility Metering, La Glace Ph VI/VII/VIII), totaling $240M. ▪ Brought stakeholders together through effective communication, guidance and leadership to facilitate and support the execution and start-up of complex brownfield projects safely, on time, on budget.▪ Applied technical expertise in regulatory requirements and operational and construction best practices to validate and optimize designs, which led to millions of dollars in savings towards capital and operating expenditures.▪ Assisted in the management of project lifecycle processes following Pembina’s PMO and PMP guidelines, from project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and project closeout. Oversaw risk identification and mitigation to ensure risks were accounted for and managed.▪ Utilized effective time management, negotiation, conflict resolution, influencing and interpersonal skills to effectively manage large workloads and high stress levels.

As part of a team of two, formulated a structured commissioning process for the Pembina Major Projects Business Unit. Implemented processes and planning with different project teams, leading to a successful safe, on time and on budget completion of Pembina’s largest project to date ($1.4B), Phase III CBU expansion.▪ Based on SWOT analysis, determined and implemented a structured commissioning process that led to millions in cost savings, while also minimizing risks through systematic and documented checking processes.▪ Led the development of the program execution strategy required to bring all 25 projects within the program online by the required in service date. Working with the project teams, we identified dependencies and constraints, and were able to adapt the individual project execution plans to meet the overall program business need, critical path, and limited resources.

Redwater, Alberta, Canada

Part of the technical services team working onsite at the shared Williams Fractionation Facility (ROF) and Redwater Fractionation Facility (RFS)• Responsible for providing technical and operational support for terminal facilities, including: 24 storage caverns, 3 disposal wells, 74 LPG/condensate/crude oil rail loading and offloading spots, 6 LPG truck loading spots, ethylene storage and shipment terminal, olefinic ethane transport and storage, CNRL and Syncrude crude oil transport and storage, and 9 pipelines entering and exiting the facility. Provided alternate technical service support for both RFS and ROF fractionation facilities in emergency situations or when coverage was required.▪ Accountable project manager to support the facility become “world class” through the management of sustainable capital projects for increased safety and performance. Leveraged experience of a variety of stakeholders within the facility, and ensured the work was performed safely in congested areas. ▪ Utilized systematic problem solving, technical and operational expertise to support operations and maintenance teams in solving daily operational issues and incidents in a fast paced, high stressed environment. ▪ Initiated and managed the development of a technical services training, mentorship and qualification program which resulted in a structured development program for educating future plant engineers.

Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada

Rio Tinto Alcan Kitimat Modernization Project (~ $20M)▪ Reported to the Job Superintendent and liaised with FWS Head Office engineering and Owner Engineering (Bechtel) teams to ensure installation met the specified design specifications and standards for two – 34m diameter by 34m high slip formed concrete storage tanks.
