Mark Connor is a Senior Network Communications Consultant providing insight and guidance to agencies and clients looking to deploy vendor autonomous next generation solutions. Mark retired from Verizon in 2020 where he was a Principle Solutions Architect for Regional Public Sector Markets. In this role he is responsible for the overall solution design of complex opportunities. Solution components covered include wire-line, wireless, Terremark, professional services. In his 19 years at Verizon he has held progressive positions in Sales Engineering achieving Presidents Club in 2001 and 2004. Prior to joining Verizon, Mark held Field and Sales Engineering positions at General Electric Aerospace, and Intecom. At GE he developed software for acceptance testing, this work was critical to a multi-billion dollar DOD project. At Intecom he was on the team for Selsius, sold to Cisco for $142M; it became Cisco's AVVID platform. As a Sales Engineer for Intecom he achieved over 225% of performance targets . Mark holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from SUNY, Utica, NY. He in addition to numerous technical certifications he maintains the following active professional certifications: COMPTIA Server+, TOGAF 9 and ITILv3.
