CurrentDevelops an annual fundraising plan for NJCA and NJCAEF - including corporate, foundation, government and individuals.Annual Awards Luncheon – lead the planning, organizing and coordinating of all aspects of this event. Working closely with the Executive Director, and Communications and other staff. Other Fundraising Events – plans, organizes and coordinates other fundraising events in collaboration with other staff.Government and Foundation Grant Renewals- works to ensure all renewals of government and foundation grants are submitted on a timely basis. Some renewals may be prepared by other staff, while the Development Director may handle all others.Government and Foundation Grant Prospecting – prospects for new grant opportunities that cover general operating expenses, needed infrastructure improvements, or that fit with a current or identified program expansion.Affiliate Dues – supports the ED and AOT team in renewing and securing new affiliates partners and dues support, annually.Grant Reports – keeps a schedule and ensures all reports are submitted on a timely basis. Some grant reports may be prepared by other staff, and the Development Director handles all others.Small and Large Donor Fundraising (including family foundations) – the Development Director will build a small and large donor program with support from the Comms team, ED, and Director of Organizing. The Development Director may request outside training and support to guide them in developing this source of funding.Cultivation – develop a plan to cultivate funders annually in collaboration with other staff and carry out that plan.Develop Fundraising priorities annually and regularly update them to ensure they connect to organization’s current and developmental prioritiesOther Fundraising Strategies - encouraged to identify and try out new methods of fundraising
