I have 30 years experience designing, developing and managing mass distribution and critical applications in areas as diverse as: professional services; CMS; finance; data communications; copy protection; digital rights management; peer to peer backup and image processing. I have been developing and debugging both Windows applications and device drivers since the earliest releases of the Windows operating system.In my role as software architect for JustAnswer I evangelise accepted software engineering principals by setting standards and distributing knowledge through training and presentations to teams in Ukraine, India and the US. I also manage our backend infrastructure team as well as acting as product manager for various internal tools. Before JustAnswer, I co-founded Cucku LLC which developed a peer to peer backup product as well as StackHash, a Windows Crash Dump analyser and developed a DVD based copy protection system for a major games company.Before co-founding Cucku, Inc., I was Senior Director of Engineering for Macrovision Research and Development (now Rovi) in the UK where I was responsible for the design and development of CD and DVD copy protection and Digital Rights Management (DRM) solutions for the games and music industries.
