Honored as a Distinguished Engineer in December 2017, a select group comprised of approximately 40 members (out of 50,000 technology employees, based on the scope and strength of my accomplishments and capabilities. Led a team of 15-25 architects and developers to focus on strategic challenges. Involved in private and public cloud development both as a contributor and a consumer. Led the architecture and development of multitenant cloud capabilities within the firm. Built a small team with ML expertise and used image recognition capabilities with TensorFlow to solve a business problem resulting in complete automation of a manual, labor intensive, costly job. Currently leading a program to enable uniform policy-based network security across all internal and external compute platforms and actively reviewing architecture of many internal platforms and applications.

Chief architect for a large corporate entitlements system serving thousands of customers and their authorized users for millions of accounts and all transaction types across corporate banking. Built a very strong relationship with the customer which resulted in delivery of capabilities that vaulted us from second to last all the way to first among our competitors in this space - a position the firm still occupies. The work in defining the architecture and leading a team of architects who developed the technical implementations and did detailed technical work as required for a 250 person development team resulted in my promotion to Executive Director. As the architecture work grew less demanding I took on platform development and security development, managing a team of about 75 people.Once that project was under control I accepted a position created for me within corporate and investment banking. The focus was applied research, leading a team of 15 highly talented architects and developers. Our responsibility was enabling innovation for about 5,000 technical employees. Products developed included a distributed administration framework and a sandbox environment with zero barrier to entry.

Architect for the Chase Online suite of applications, specializing in authorization and authentication. Creator of the MFA process and provided the technical direction to the team which built the solution. I suggested this approach on an ABA meeting with FFIEC representatives in 2006 and it became the norm for the industry. In addition, I defined much of the business entitlements management for Chase.com and defined and prototyped a unique embedded cryptographic digital signature solution for loan applicants.

Architecture and development of AT&T Network Performance Management application for monitor and control of AT&T Any Distance Network. The application I was responsible for is still in production with AT&T as of December 2022.

Full time consultant placed at AT&T Bell Labs developing software for call data.

Lead Developer and Development Manager on multilevel secure application for the US Navy and other classified projects. Much of my work was systems programming and high performance code including operating systems modifications, device driver augmentation and creation of a proprietary network stack. The multilevel secure application was initially deployed to production in 1988 and is still in production as of July 2021.
