Maclure Well Onboard Wilphoenix

I was sub contracted from Premier Oil to Maersk for the winter months to drill and complete the MacLure well in the Gryphon field. This project was hit with very poor weather and was not completed, however I learned a lot more working in the Maersk role, more about Purchase Orders, Call Offs, Daily costings etc. So the role was benificial in my learning.

Babbage Phase Ii Project Onboard Ensco 100

With the Huntington Porject now under our belts, We have moved to the Southern Sector of the North Sea to undertake 2 Wells on the Babbage Phase II Project. Where is will continue to perform my role as Offshore Drilling & Completions Materials & Logistics Co-Ordinator for Eon UK, responsible for day to day Logistical issues and Deck Management of the rig.

Contracted by Centrica Energy (Formerly Venture Production) as Drilling Materials & Logistics Co-ordinator and have been on the Noble Ton Van Langeveld (Semi), Noble Julie Robertson (Jack Up) and Noble Scott Marks (Jack Up).Currently back on NTvL until the beginning of May

Worked on Transocean Paul B Loyd contracted to B.P as A Self Employed Limited Company Contractor performing the position of Drilling Materials Controller, this position was also undertaken with A.D.T.I when the rig was sub-let to Hess for an Appraisal Well.

Paul B Loyd Jnr

I was employed by Fircroft Engineering and am working on the Transocean Paul B Loyd Jnr drilling rig, contracted to B.P as a Drilling Materials Controller. My day to day responsibilities were to maintain the current drilling tools package ensuring that all equipment was in certification and fit for use, liaise with onshore team to arrange equipment loadouts for pending operations whilst drilling or completing a well. I coordinated all personnel movements on the rig making sure that helicopter seats are utilised to best possible practice.

Bp Clair Platform

I was employed by a recruitment Agency (Fircroft Engineering) as Operations Materials Controller on the B.P Clair Platform. I was responsible for the day to day operational spares and controlling Air and Sea Cargo Manifesting of goods To and From the Platform, waste management documentation, rental / portable tools inventory and certification classification of all containerised units.

I gained employment with Deutag as a Roustabout on the B.P. Forties, where I was employed for 4 months before being transferred to the position of Materialsman on the B.P. Harding Platform. My current duties as Services Co-Ordinator include the maintaining of stock levels in a drilling store. I am responsible for all cargo manifestation of equipment from the platform, dangerous goods and special waste documentation. I am also computer literate having worked with computers for several years. At present I am working for the newly formed KCA Deutag Drilling, which is part of the Abbott group. I have recently completed working on the B.P Andrew platform as platform materials controller, responsible for the operations side of materials as well as the drilling side. I am currently back on B.P Andrew working in the aforementioned role.

I was employed as a Materialsman on the Phillips Maureen Platform, responsible for manifestation of drilling equipment during the well plug and abandonment program. This was the first operation of its kind in the North Sea.

I worked as Floorman for 8 months before training for the Materialsman position. I initially covered for holidays before being given a position of my own. Working for McGregors, I gained experience as a roustabout working on semi submersible rigs and drilling / production platforms. My duties included working with the crane, loading and offloading of supply vessels, releaving on the drill floor and general maintenance.
