About Mark Jeffries

As a founder and director of technology businesses I am inspired when building macro-solutions that serve and meet the needs of people and communities. I collaborate with thought-leaders to create 21st century platforms with the aim of radically improving the delivery of health and social services in all communities. I've seen and learned a lot in 35+ years of business and professional services - there is so much more to learn so we can harness the best of technology for social impact purposes. I find time for legal advocacy work and co-founded Equity Works in 2018 to seek social justice outcomes for people disadvantaged by systemic discrimination and bias. My investment and board roles have focussed around growth of NZ world class technology businesses since 2000. These include a business sold to a NASDAQ listed company in 2011; another sold to an NZX listed company in 2014; a successful sports video engagement business; and most recently founding the health and social services platform company, pAI Squared. I have served on a number of NFP boards including Massey University's incubator; Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand; Chair of the e-business association of NZ, and was a founding trustee of the Well Foundation, the charitable arm of one of NZ's largest health agencies.
