I have significant public sector experience having spent 30 years in the Police service and 7 years in social housing.I am a level 5 business coach and PTLLS trained, whilst in the Police I was a trained negotiator and became part of the training directorate for the National Negotiators Course hosted by the Met Police.In 2016 I was elected onto Felixstowe Town Council, in May 2019 I was re-elected onto the Town Council and was also elected as a District Councillor for the newly formed East Suffolk Council.I currently work with Level 2 Youth Project in Felixstowe as a volunteer mentor for young men.Having been elected as a District Councillor for the new East Suffolk Council I have been appointed Deputy Cabinet Member with responsibility for Community Safety and County Lines Mark.jepson@me.com
