My role with Scottish and Southern Energy had developed through a long standing and progressive career which enable me to exceed expectation against deadlines, budget control, negotiated cost savings, contractor and customer management through to local community involvement and successful contract renewal cycles.Low Voltage Refurbishment SchemeManagement professional lead on this ongoing contract with 5-year renewable cycle agreements. Managed 200+ contractors, internal team of 10 and supported nationwide sites with the complete refurbishment to low voltage cabling for Scottish and Southern Energy. Controlled a £13< project budget per year, successfully achieved all KPIs and deadlines, secured local resident and council agreement and acted as ambassador for the company at all site locations.Overhead Cable ProgrammeSuccessfully managed the complete project implementation of all new cabling across overhead lines throughout the UK. I supported multi-site contracting teams, handled all procurement and equipment placement as well as carried out onsite risk assessment, health and safety evaluations, audit and quality checks, regular meetings with all stakeholders and reported against project development, cost accounting and compliance – achieved 100% health and safety result.Low Conductor ProjectManaged £2M budget for raising main’s heights and services across various residential area locations in Scotland and Southern regions with a contracting team of 200+. Due to the nature of this project I came across local resident and council objections which were managed through communication.
