I have 36 years of experience as researcher at Philips research, the last 20 years at highest scientific grade. Using my ability to identify ahead of the field technical solutions to problems l have developed into Philips all time top (and one of the worlds leading) Inventor holding 4773 Patent Rights in more than 750 patent families. My inventions include Amazons Kindle e-book display and in recent years has moved towards more digital patent portfolios.Many years experience of coaching international teams on building patent portfolios to establish business control points. l coach by example and am recognized as a role model in driving teams to overachieve.Exploited my position as leading researcher and inventor to create both the patent generation process and the explorative research process at Philips. Extensive experience of coordination and coaching of explorative research teams at Philips.In recent years establish a method to identify patent control points and applied this to the majority of Value Streams in research. Finally I remain a research physicist with in excess of 100 publications in top journals, including a review article with over 1000 citations and a book written together with Nobel Prize winner Peter Grunberg.
