I developed a business plan which incorporated vertical and geographical diversification. This saw the team of 12 sustained through a market decline with an increased market reach. This saw the CV services group become one of the most reputable ITS construction businesses in Queensland. Milestone projects include:National Broadband Network - BrownfieldFrom 2012 to 2013 I planned and implemented the first NBN brownfield package in Queensland. To achieve this, I developed a thorough management process for the roll-out due to the strict time-frames required. I managed the team to haul, splice and test of 92 km of fibre from the node to multiport within 3 months. This scaled up to approximately 30 resources at the peak. Bruce Highway Managed MotorwayIn 2012 I worked along side the Seymour Whyte and Parsons Brinkerhoff team for the $70m Double ECI Submission for the Bruce Highway Managed Motorway. My role was to ensure that all proposals of the design team were checked for constructability and functionality. I reviewed all scope of the ITS works and presented to the Department of Transport and Main Roads as a part of the dECI proposal.

Project Manager - ItsCv Services Group Jun 2011 - Jun 2012I was hired by CV services for the role of Project Manager of the Origin Alliance - Dinmore to Goodna ITS Project. While managing this milestone project, I was exposed to a significant amount of the ITS devices in Queensland. These include: vehicle detection, classification, CCTV, webcam, Automatic Number Plate Recognition, Weather station, fibre optic telecommunications, Layer 2/3 network using redundancy, wireless telemetry, ramp signalling and advanced warning, variable message signs, variable speed limit signs, lane use management signs and help phones.

Network And Communications EngineerTransport & Main Roads 2008 - Jun 2011Brisbane, Queensland, AuAs Project Manger for the PAPL Transition Project, I was responsible for upgrading the existing ITS Telecommunications from PAPL (Permitted Attached Private Line) to a new ADSL Solution. This was completed at a total of approximately 1000 sites between 5 regions. As a graduate I developed very quickly and have surprised management with my fast learning ability. As a result this project was awarded 3 business unit awards (Innovation and Creativity, Project Management and Customer Satisfaction). Following this the project went on to win a whole of RoadTek award for Project Management (competing with $500 million of capital works for the financial year). Following this project I moved into the South East Queensland webcam project. This gave me the opportunity to exercise my experience with state-wide ITS Project Management. In this project I was responsible for the installation of 52 web cameras (fixed IP Cameras) throughout the south east corner. This project has now been completed and is under applications for awards in project management and customer satisfaction (as it gained a perfect score of 5/5 in a customer satisfaction survey). While completing these projects I was responsible for numerous minor works construction projects ranging from pit repairs to street light upgrades in order to gain some experience in RoadTek's construction arm. -
