I launched Johnston Legal in January 2013 and am excited about the step into sole practice, where I will focus on providing a high quality litigation service for my clients.I have extensive experience in compensation litigation since gaining admission as a solicitor in 1999, and am a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law. Other areas of litigation experience include employment claims, superannuation claims, disputed wills, contractual disputes and local court appearances.In July 2013 I commenced employment at University of Wollongong's Law Faculty as a Sessional Tutor in Contract Law.Outside of work I have a strong interest in sport, particularly cricket where I have played Sydney first grade level. Whilst still playing first grade in the Illawarra competition, I am President of the Illawarra Cricket Association and a life member of my club, Keira CC. In October 2013 I played for the Australian Lawyers Cricket team at the International Lawyers Cricket World Cup in New Delhi.
