In the Sr. Project Manager role, I support Global Engineering projects (>500 KUSD) in the Americas region, with primary responsibility at the Port Newark, NJ Ingredients plant. My portfolio of projects includes strategic growth projects, efficiency projects, new technologies, utility infrastructure upgrades, building expansions, and compliance projects. I also continue to support projects outside the Port Newark facility at the Princeton US Headquarters and other US sites. My role goes beyond project management to include the development of engineering standards, sharing best practices, mentoring new hires, and participating in the pilot of new PM systems to be introduced at the company.

My responsibilities at Firmeinch include managing projects in the production facility from concept to completion in line with PMBOK methodology and internal guidelines. This includes coordination with internal and external resources, multiple stakeholders, equipment suppliers, contractors, and many other entities. Tasks include engineering design review, conceptual engineering design development, contractor approvals, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoicing, CAPEX document preparation, maintenance of PM databases, issuance of work permits, acquiring building permits from AHJs, facilitating PHA meetings, and additional tasks. The PM effort also includes rigorous tracking of schedule, costs, risks, and issues. I am responsible for successful completion of my assigned projects on time, on budget, and on scope.In addition to my primary roles, I assist the Firmenich Global Engineering PMO in developing standards and templates for the PM methodology, and I perform various safety activities within the production facility.

My responsibilities at Whitman included mechanical and process design and project management. Mechanical projects included design of HVAC, chiller, exhaust, and other systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. Process design included efficiency upgrades, process installations, process expansions, conceptual studies, process hazard analysis, and other process improvements in the consumer products, flavors, fragrances, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. I was also responsible for in-house management tasks such as resource management, resource scheduling, business development, proposal preparation, sales, projections, invoicing, and other tasks.

As Project Engineer at PVM Group, a small, primarily process engineering-focused company, I was actively involved in many aspects of the business. I was responsible for developing project concepts, estimating cost, generating proposals, meeting with clients, performing engineering design and calculations, developing project drawings including fabrication drawings, permitting projects with various AHJ's, installation oversight, and final project start-up. I was also responsible for general office management, including IT, network design, and initial office layout design.

At Prime Environmental, my experience with engineering and environmental work grew. I was responsible for process engineering design, engineering drafting, planning/zoning/construction permits, primary client liaison, assistance with an R&D biofuels project, site remediation assistance, environmental sampling, environmental reporting, and environmental permitting.

At Hammerhead Engineering, I built a strong foundation in an entrepreneurial environment following the lead of an experienced engineer and an experienced environmental professional. I was responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including engineering drafting, engineering design, environmental reports and documents, environmental work oversight, OSHA training, office IT services, website design, office reception, and many others.
