American entrepreneur, product visionary, retreat owner, and motivational speaker. In 1992, Mark established The Happy Company. Because of this venture, I invented and managed the development cycle of more than 100 products, trademarks, and copyrights. The inspiration behind my products was to introduce “the caring touch”. In 1995, Mark won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was a finalist under the Manufacturing and Social Responsibility category the following year. The Happy Company was also able to be part of the "Top Ten Companies" list for Northern California and the "Top Ten Fastest Growing Companies" list in the Bay Area in the following years. Aside from that, I also won the Business of the Year Award and the Entrepreneurial Star award for my achievements in my company. In 2010, Mark published a book entitled Charlie’s Thinking Cheese, a self-help book aimed to encourage, motivate, and uplift its readers through Charlie and Mark's appreciation for food, family, and life.Mark is a firm believer in personal growth and health, which is why he created health retreat communities in northern California, specifically in Weed and Dunsmuir. While Mark does believe in the powers of the mind and health, he also advocates for professional growth. He also focused on three projects namely, The Mask Connection-- where he envisions creating masks that are comfortable and safe, SAM, The Work Pod-- where he visualizes a comfortable insulated space conducive for working, and finally, The Tiny Book-- where I created a tiny credit-card-sized booklet with all the information you need, down in your pocket.
