Having recently wrapped up a successful and fulfilling career with Uprise-Nashville and LHH in coaching, consulting, training, project management, business development, team and business unit leadership, I’m excited to re-launch my private coaching practice Mark Marshall Associates on a post-retirement, part-time basis. This allows me to continue providing career coaching and job search assistance to people who struggle with and want to be more successful in these transitions. I’m now following the advice I have shared with clients over the years – seek to do work that:• is meaningful and contributes to the growth of other people, organizations, and the community at large.• uses our highest motivated skills.• allows us to continue learning and growing. • allows us to be part of a great team. • allows us to represent organizations we respect and can be proud of. To achieve this, we must have goals and a strategy to achieve them.Then it’s important to have the tools and resources required to effectively execute a transition plan.Networking is most important of these tools and a constant reminder that we are not alone in our respective transitions.
