Mark Kellogg is a Assistant IT Director at Wright County at Wright County, Minnesota. He possess expertise in security, troubleshooting, management, information technology, leadership and 10 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Mark was my Manager for about 8 years at Wings Financial Federal Credit Union. He is an excellent Manager and very knowleadgeable at what he does. Being straight out of school at the time I met Mark, he helped me grow in the techology field and is very patient and understanding. I rose from Desktop Adminstrator to Network Adminstrator under Mark's management. He is never shy to roll up his sleeves or get his pants dirty to assist in resolving issues to make sure the job gets done. Getting the job done is a focus of his but at the same time he ensured that the people who helped to get the job done are well treated and motivated. He motivated us by making sure we get one or two training classes annually so that we can keep abreast with the ever changing technology. Mark has an open door policy and is always open to questions and ideas. He is very approachable and I never felt nervous to talk to him about issues. He is a great listener and offered great advice and suggestions to resolve issues. I remember he would always say "If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to let me know". He is a great team player and always encouraged team work and team spirit. Working as a team helped to get the job done in a very timely and orderly manner. Mark is a great Manager and I am confident he will continue to be a great Manager so I would recommend Mark any time." and "I got to know Mark Kellogg in January of 2002 where I worked under him as a Desktop Administrator at Wings Financial FCU. With me being fresh out of school, it was a great experience to have a mentor to help prioritize tasks and encourage my development of skills through classes and certification tracks. He was eager to brainstorm to find efficient solutions to resolve issues that we faced. Another trait that gained Mark respect was his willingness to roll up his sleeves and help out when needed. If there was an upgrade or install to perform after hours, he was always there to lend a hand. Many times in Information Systems, the only time attention is drawn to an employee or the team is when an issue arises. Mark made the job feel less “Thank-less” by his consistent recognition of his employees for a job well done for keeping systems running seamlessly without interruption of normal daily operations. Personally, his words motivated me when times were rough during a major conversion project at the Credit Union. Being the parent of a child with special needs, I have come to recognize and respect Mark’s flexibility with a work schedule and understanding that family comes before work. I believe this is treatment that every employee should get from their manager but is not the case in most departments. Mark was very understanding if I ever needed to leave unexpectedly. With Mark’s friendly, outgoing personality mixed with his technical knowledge and leadership skills, he would be a tremendous asset for any organization to acquire."
