Hi all I've been working in the Whisky ( Whiskey with me being Northern Irish' ;) ... Industry within Diageo sites since 2010 to present, Experienced in Disgorging Unit , Warehousing , Filling store , Barrel park Bodega , Cooperage ' you name it I have been there & done it. Now im a Tutor / Journeyman in the Cooperage Apprentice School. Before my journey with Diageo i was a time served Fabricator Welder, Steel Erector and Rigger, Which took me all round the UK & Rep Ireland. Now im part of one of the oldest Trades in the world and i have the honor of training the next generation of coopers with traditional tools and methods and also modern equipment and machinery showing that safety and quality is our first priority.
