I am a passionate scientist, veterinarian, philanthropist, and investor.I spend my time pursuing knowledge and truth across the fields of veterinary science, animal health and welfare, humanitarianism, and property investing. As a veterinary scientist, one of my focuses is researching and educating in the area of immunology and epidemiology - in particular communicable disease in our pet cats and dogs. Canine Parvovirus is a disease I am passionate to try and help eradicate - which is estimated to infect & kill hundreds of thousands of puppies worldwide every year, and is completely preventable by vaccination. In 2020 I completed my PhD in canine parvoviral epidemiology, and I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to author or co-author twenty eight journal articles.I was a founding director of Paws for A Purpose, a fledgling social enterprise charity, with the mandate of "Helping Pets And People In Need". For 8 years I was also a co-director of Pets In The Park, a national charity that helps the homeless care for their pets.A few years ago I launched a new Canine Parvovirus disease surveillance and alerting system for Australia - ParvoALERT.com. We have had quite a few hurdles and the program is still in a beta-testing and rollout phase to vet clinics. Ultimately, I hope this will help stop Parvo across the country and may even be used even internationally. I also founded Australia's prior (first ever) national disease surveillance system for pets - Disease WatchDog, which ran from 2010 - 2017. As Director and Owner of Achieve Property Pty Ltd, I have also been actively involved in property investing, since 2004, buying and selling/holding a real estate portfolio which has allowed me some freedom to follow my passions.I published my first book in 2014, "Become A Property Millionaire In Your Spare Time"; out of print now, it is available online from Amazon. I am passionate about helping others get started in property investing, and I ran the Sydney Property Meeting group from mid-2012 to 2017.Currently, I work as Companion Animal Veterinary Operations Manager for Zoetis animal health. My portfolios, as technical lead in Australia, are the osteoarthritis anti-NGF monoclonal antibodies, bedinvetmab and frunevetmab, and vaccines.

DirectorPaws For A Purpose Sep 2016 - PresentAustraliaPaws for A Purpose is a new social enterprise charity with the sole purpose of Helping Pets and People in Need. Their goal is to grow a community of people who love pets and want to help other people and their pets. Across Australia, there are loving pet-owning people who for whatever reason need help to be able to care for their pets. There are communities that are socially disadvantaged where pet diseases threaten the welfare of pets, and risk breaking the hearts of families when these pets get sick from preventable disease. Paws for A Purpose seeks to help solve the issues facing people with pets who are in need of help, and to bring people together - and to bring people and pets together - with the power of the bond that pet ownership and pet-love brings.http://pawsforapurpose.org -

DirectorPets In The Park - Helping The Homeless Care For Their Pets 2014 - Apr 2022Pets in the Park (PITP) is a national charity that helps the homeless care for their pets by providing veterinary, medical, and other support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The organisation's goal is to support, build relationships with, and improve the wellbeing of homeless people in society living with animal companions. Many people who are experiencing homelessness own pets that play a significant role in their lives. These much loved pets offer unconditional love, companionship, emotional support and security; basic human needs that are often not met elsewhere. Although pet ownership greatly enriches the lives of those who are homeless, it also comes at a significant financial cost. Annual vaccinations, flea treatment, routine worming, and de-sexing and microchipping an animal costs hundreds of dollars. PITP provides free veterinary help, medications, pet food and pet accessories, surgical procedures, monthly clinics that homeless people can attend, and outreach services, and currently operates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Through the work carried out, the volunteers of Pets In The Park get to meet some amazing people and find time and again, that the amount of love that people have for their pets is unsurpassed. www.petsinthepark.org.au
