Aug 14 to Oct 15 - GWEP Parapet Extension and UTX’s Led a Network Rail project to extend 17 Bridge Parapets along the Great Western Electrification route adding protection prior to electrification. Also Bid Managed two Network Rail, Parapet Extension tenders; Managed the design and install of undertrack crossings, and provided CRE support for the commencement of various projects. Show less

Mar 11 - Oct 11, Crossrail C310 Thames Tunnel - Project Manage the construction a protection barrier alongside the North Kent Line as a primary enabler for the construction of the Tunnel Portal and approaching 3/4 mile long incline with the lines open. Sept 2009 – Feb 2011 - Crossrail Tenders & Whitechapel Station Enabling Works - Senior Project Manager leading 9 Crossrail Enabling Works Tenders of which we were awarded two. Successfully delivering many projects as Project Manager during a long while with Taylor Woodrow in a range of sectors. This included Air; Arts, Commercial; Rail, Defence; Education; Retail; Residential, Underground and Infrastructure sectors. I had joined Taylor Woodrow Construction from University in Sept 1980 as an assistant engineer, and was promoted to Senior Engineer for the John Lewis Shopping Centre project, Dorchester in 1994. I returned to TWC Design Build Division in Aug 1987, at John Lewis, High Wycombe and attained MICE chartered status in spring 1989. I was promoted to my first Project Manager role in 1990 for a Listed Government Office refurbishment and extension on the Isle of Wight & worked with the D & B team for a further 7 years. Show less
